About Us

Mission

In order to achieve holistic care and a patient-centered medical philosophy, the hospital set up the Coronary Care Center on April 1, 2009. The center's medical team targets patients who have "coronary artery-related diseases" and their families. We integrate the expertise in emergency medical resources and cardiology and cardiac surgery to construct a comprehensive medical service system which provides fast and professional clinical care for patients and their families.

The Coronary Care Center Team consists of the Department of Cardiology, Emergency Department, Cardiac Catheterization, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, Nutritionists, Social Workers, Respiratory Therapists, Anesthesiologists, the Infection Control Group, Information Engineers, quality management commissioners and other professional medical staff. We develop personal care plans for patients with coronary heart disease to provide comprehensive medical care. This approach not only treats the acute phase of the disease, but also can improve or reduce the risk factors and reduce the incidence of disease recurrence. During the hospitalization, we provide health education on nutrition including pathogenic factors such as hypertension, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, obesity and smoking. We adopted a sports program to safely and effectively improve patients' cardiopulmonary endurance in order to maintain a good quality of life. After the patients are discharged, we follow up on patients regularly to track their condition and provide counseling services.
